Angels picked the 'three starters' series, so the Sox will open in Anaheim on Wednesday, October 1, time TBD. There's really no point to having both Wakefield and Byrd in this case, and I really don't know who they'll leave off the roster. This also increases the chances of a third catcher (Kotteras?) making the team.
